As we head into the big game weekend, Paramount Pictures is set to debut its latest trailer for Terminator: Genisys. Presenting the trailer before Super Bowl XLIX, we’re given just a taste of what’s to come as audiences anticipate the fifth coming of Arnold Schwarzenegger on July 1. With less than a half a year to go, the marketing team is definitely looking to ramp up the excitement for a property most likely forgotten by the mainstream. The 30-second spot offers a few new scenes, which you can find after the break along with some new screenshots.

This Super Bowl spot doesn’t bring too much more than what we’ve seen in the previous trailer. There are a few new shots of Arnold’s T-800 deteriorating and Emilia Clarke’s Sarah Connor telling us to “load up.” The trailer continues to confirm that “everything has changed,” much like any other Terminator film in the franchise. What we can assume has changed is the impeding threat of the apocalypse of course, just like any other in this series.

It’s been six years since Terminator: Salvation with Christian Bale, and it starred a CGI stand in for Arnold. On a $200 million budget, Salvation only made $371 million, not quite the blockbuster level its predecessors have achieved. This move to market the film during the Super Bowl is a good chance to reach a huge audience to remind everyone that Arnold is back.
